    N.L. vs. Cherryville

    North Lincoln 8 (7-1)
    Cherryville 7

North led 4-1 going into the 7th inning. Pitching hit the wall.
Several walks ,a hit batter and a misplayed grounder between
the right side and Cherryville was up 5-4. North managed to
get a runner on , moved her to second and then to third on
consecutive ground outs, w/ two outs the runner on third.
The next batter grounded to SS but in the excitement of the
moment the SS went home instead of first and the run scored.
Extra frames> Cherryville put 2 more on the board courtesy of
free tickets to lead 7-5 going in to the bottom of 8th. NL answered again
to tie it at 7-7. Runner on third with one out.Next batter grounds to third and the runner is gunned at the plate. No more damage.
Top of the 9th, Cherryville 3 up 3 down. North gets a couple of walks
and scores on a ground out to win the game. What a nail biter...
Cherryville could have won just easily as North. Should be a great rematch
at Cherryville. A. Walls pitched well. She was relieved in the 7th or 8th.
    Baxter gets the win
    Courtney Feldon 4/5 2dbls

Hey Ole, what a lot of twists and turns in this one? Kristen Dacanal had 3 hits for Cherryville, and Big Turbo (North) was robbed of a homer by the Ump. Little Turbo ran the bases well, and scored that tying run in the 7th. Courtney is in another league! These two will be fun to watch every time they get together.

Much better game than last time. Couple of walks in the first TRYING to find umpires strike zone and couple of hit batters in third got us in trouble early. showed some heart and came back from down 9-1 to make in interesting.

Parkland led by Fresh. SS Yvette Gonzalez who went 2-4

    Parkland 8-3 (3-3) 3rd in conference

    Big Turbo

I agree, They need to get another foul pole put up at the regulation
fence. That ball was fair when it passed the 200' fence. No way that
should have been taken away from her. But , That's the breaks.
I hope we do not get those umps again. ever !!!

    NL vs Cherryvile

Sorry for the mistake. I guess North walked so many it became a little blurry there at the end... Cherryville played well and made a good game
of it. Have you ever seen an ump stand so far behind the catcher like that ?? Good luck with the rest of your schedule.
