not taking anything away from Southpoint, looks like you're having a fine year, just commenting on how far NG has come under new coach.
    :imagestor[/QUOTE]
Some of us have told others, not here, but face to face, that NG would be getting better in the near future. They have more talented players than in the past. And they should get even better with some more good young players coming up. Hopefully the new coach can take that talent and just keep building on it.

As far as SP, for the past 6-7 years they've always been just a win away from the playoffs every year. And always pulling out 2 or 3 wins against the top teams in the conference each year too. The coach has done this with only 2 travel ball players in that span. Hopefully they can keep up their season and get to that next level.

Is one of them the SS?
If so, she was struck out twice, popped up to the catcher, bunted for a hit and had a sac bunt. (1-4)

Oh wow, I just saw this, don't be so hard on that NG defense. They only had 3 errors the whole game, and only one in the 6th inning, when all the scoring took place. There were 5 hard hits in the 6th, and 2 good bunt hits. Actually 4 of the runs were earned, so that defense really played a stellar game.
