    achs7 crest-2 emily pierce gets the win. freshman kirstin morris had 3 hits and scored 3 runs. achs jv`s 8- crest jvs 2 . megan laxton and ashleigh willamson combined for the win. ashley benfield had 3 hits and laxton,tara marrion,ashley jones all had 2 hits each. our trip to unicoi tenn, was called off because of bad weather up in tenn. next up is the 1-a state champs east surry monday at central park .

    North Davidson 4 East Rowan 1 9 inns
    Great Game!1-1 till last inn.East made quite a few errors but was able work out of jams.ER had opportunity to go ahead but couldn't quite get it done.Couple of controversial calls, as the blues were quite bad!I know we're not supposed to call anyone out but John Allen does not need to be calling HS games.He had 2 of the better pitchers in the state going at it,& this guy does not give the outside corner the whole game, even when you paint the corner, no call.With the older girls you have got to give them corners!!!!!!!!I hope the 2 ND gals are going to be alright,Ashley Angel took 1 on hands, & Danielle Reese got hurt hustling after a foul ball.2 great ball players,I just hope their going to be OK.I do feel that ER had Lambros quite nervous.
