Here is copy of article in this mornings Shelby paper.

    Childers tosses perfect game
    Staff Reports - Apr. 26, 2006
KINGS MOUNTAIN — It’s hard to believe a shutout, a no-hitter or a perfect game would seem to be old hat but that’s just about the case for the Kings Mountain High girls softball team at present.
The defending State 3A champion Lady Mountaineers got a five-inning perfect game from pitcher Morgan Childers in a 10-0 triumph against Southwestern 2A/3A Conference foe Chase Tuesday afternoon.
Childers struck out 13 and didn’t allow a base-runner in the shortened contest, which lifted Kings Mountain to 19-1 overall, 11-0 in the SWC.
Casey Camp supplied three hits, drove in a run and had two stolen bases for the victors. Courtney Tate had two hits and a pair of steals for Kings Mountain and LaRonda McClain had two hits. Haley Barrett had a double and two RBI while Childers supplied a double and three RBI.
Kings Mountain plays at Shelby Friday at 4:30.

Correct me if I am wrong but did one of the Chase players get a hit to right field just out of the reach of the KM 1st basegirl.
