    Actually every position had a different player to start the 6th, than what started the game except for the catcher. When the starters came back in the score was 8 to 5, 1 out bases loaded. which by the way was left by the subs. But I think you missed CF's point. Not trying to blame any of the players, they shouldn't have been put in that position. If a coach does not do what it takes to win, especially with a possible State playoff birth on the line, that is a cause for concern!!

    Well, I'm a little concerned also, but I was at the previous game at Crest which Crest won straight up. I believe it was 9 innings, too. I'm not taking anything away from anybody, just saying it's not unbelievable what happened. Maybe, sometimes we should give credit to the other team, instead of trying to explain what went wrong. Please don't take this the wrong way, I'm guilty of it too.

    re-entry during defensive part of inning ?

    Making sure I am following this correctly (maybe not), were the re-entries (I think someone called it "inserted") made during EG's half of the inning while they were on defense? Legal, yes.... but sounds like a tough situation to have to pull players off the field on defense & re-enter starters, if that is what happened. HS coaches have tough decisions to make when they get a lead, but have a desire to provide PT for reserve players.

    achs 1/ schs-0. sr day at ac! sr. dara elder singled to right after fouling off about 5 or 6 2 strike pitches, goes to 2ndon a pick off play, then scores on a single to left by fres. kirsten morris!!. emily pierce was almost unhittabld ! she had 16 k`s and gave up 1 hit.
