    Central Cabarrus improves to 26-0 by defeating Hopewell for the third time this season and 8th straight, to win their 4th straight MECA 8/6 conference tournament championship!! Central banged out 11 htis against two quality pitchers from Hopewell.

    NCFCA HS poll 4A

    I don't know anything about how this poll is determined, but I noticed that Fuquay-Varina HS is not in the top-ten nor honorable mention. This team is 20-4 overall, with a 12-0 undefeated regular season in conference games in the Tri-Seven conference. They are playing Apex tonight in the conference tourn. championship game.

    I know that polls really don't mean a lot, but was just trying to figure this out.
