    Thank You DOWNSOUTH for telling everyone accurate info about madison. I've been reading tbr post throughout baseball season and appreciate all the correct posts to questions reguarding "the commitment issue".::blah: :blah: This MANchild is one of the best HS seniors in the country. Lets just be happy we get to watch this caliber of a player in AL Baseball.:agreed: ?

    Morehead City beat Pineville 5-3 in the 4:00PM game today.

    Morehead City now faces Kannapolis with the winner getting Caldwell County on tuesday.

    Concerning the 2006 State Legion Tourney,
    Congrats to Morehead City. Sounds like they've got more fight in them than anyone else in this tourney. They've battled back in a couple of games and now find themselves still alive. Good luck to all of those involved... but Caldwell's my pick to win it all -- That team is stacked and they are in great position right now. (Yes, I said ANOTHER positive thing about the Post 29 ballclub -- how will you guys spin this one into a negative comment?)

    WHAT A GAME: CALDWELL VS. KANNAPOLIS

    Two great teams going at it. A lot of talent on both sides of the field. Madison Bumgarner is the real deal, he may be a better hitter than he is a pitcher.

    Any chance that kid decides to play for the Wolfpack? The Devil Rays, Royals, Pirates, etc. don't need him. ;)

    And what kind of guy wants to wear light blue during his college career? Someone talk some sense into the young man. Just playin guys...

    C'mon guys...this thread is about this year's tournament. Any reference to two years ago incident will be deleted. Remember...no personal attacks are welcomed. We are about promoting the players...drop the attacks and get back to what TBR is all about.

    There have been some things said that have hurt people. I promise you that is not acceptable and won't be tolerated.

    There's a huge difference between this :banginghe and this :imagestor
