    If I remember correctly it was Drew Poulk, but I may be wrong. I know he hit a MR that game. I'll check out BB9r's post...she had an article about that game posted.

    hmmm....

    there are those scanning skills again, B :D
    DP pitched 7 innings in the Kannapolis game on Monday(2nd game) to get to the final day against Caldwell.. He came in to close out the last 2 innings in the semi-final with Caldwell and then finished in the championship game by pitching the last 3 innings to close it out.

    Too bad B you didn't make the trip over on Championship gameday.
    Then you would have really seen something!

    more coverage of Post 46's road to victory...

    Post 46 Wins State Title


    I know all the players had to endure some scorching heat thruout this tourney, but Post 46 had a catcher who caught every inning of every game..how many teams there can say that. We went with 1 catcher and thanks be to God that he was able to make it all the way thru! Our roster consisted of 13 players...not much breathing room at all to allow players any rest.
