    Radio Coverage

They said yesterday on 1340 WJRI that they will have an in-stadium frequency of 87.9 FM for all of Caldwell's games. Plus www.foothillsradio.com has scores and recaps of the games.

Wow, it was HOT yesterday!!! About the "frothy beverages" not being sold, don't know how that rumor got started, but they weren't.

The Kannapolis/Pitt County game was just the typical pitcher's duel where neither team should've lost, but fortunately for us we came out on top. Alex White was still being clocked at 92/93 in the 10th inning, he will be awesome at Carolina, especially after adds about 20 more lbs. of muscle which he will. For us, Blake Ketner was just his same ole consistent big-game pitcher for us, Blake knows no pressure. His only mistake thru 9 innings was a ball that he left up for the Pitt kid who hit the 2-run homer to tie the game. Blake was great and this was a big win for Ktown.

Looking forward to seeing some great crowds there tonight as you have Garner/Caldwell locking horns at 4pm and then Pineville/Kannapolis at 7pm. I actually thought we had a great crowd on a work-day for a 4pm game yesterday with folks who had to drive an hour, but the crowd on Saturday night at 7 should be awesome.

Again, congrats to all the winning teams, and hopefully the weather will cooperate where we can have another great night of baseball.

Braves and Dbacks20, hopefully I'll see you guys tonight at the game...

50% or 60% chance of rain this afternoon, depending on who you listen to.
