    Drive time?

    From Caldwell County to the ballpark? Can someone give me an approx. time it takes to get there following directions on TBR. ??

    Dbacks20,,,, well we didn't get to play our regular season matchup with you guys,,, but tonight we'll finally get on the field together with much more at stake. Pineville's a class program and it should be a great ballgame.

    Caldwell defeats Garner

    Messer pitched an awesome game. Lost count of his strikeouts!!!
    Highlight was 3rd inn. Justice is on base, they walk Madison and Chavis hits a 3 run bomb with 2 outs.
    That's my highlight anyway, some may say it was the ruckus in another inning.
    Final score Post 29 over Garner 4-1

    Just got back from the game:

    - Caldwell's fans booed, yelled expletives and taunted Garner coach Moe Barbour when his name was called in the pre-game introductions

    - There was a strong "buzz" in the air the whole game, fans/players/coaches/etc all were on their toes and into every pitch. VERY intense.

    - Garner didn't bring their offense to the park today, large part due to #27 for Caldwell. He was on. Great game by him.

    - Garner's pitcher pitched 8 innings, gave up a 3run bomb (4 total) and that was all #27 needed. Garner's pitcher gave up some hits, but got out of several jams and pitched well overall.

    - Loser's bracket: Garner plays Morehead City (eliminated Pitt today) tomorrow at 1:00. The HiToms (eliminated Fayetteville) play the loser of Kannap/Pineville tomorrow at 4:00.

    - Garner coach Moe Barbour got ejected middle way through the game (didn't show his tail or anything) but was tossed for questioning some pretty horrible umpiring (consistently bad strike zone... Area 4 Umpires).

    - Great baseball game though. I have a feeling these two teams could see each other down the road in this tourney.

    great win caldwell lets see the garner fans were well behaved, the garner players were well behaved, the caldwell fans were terrible, the caldwell players were mouthy and the umps were cheaters. sounds like another unbiased account. you can here the whining all the way to caldwell co. thats alright were used to playing cherryville.

    Alright 29ers. Who throws tomorrow for Caldwell? Messer is legit by the way. One of my favorites.
