2006 Pre-Seasons Scrimmages

Thanks Red Bear, but actually the word around Taylorsville (that I have heard) was that AC struggled against Foard.

I think both teams scored twice.... as far as FTF is concerned that is probably a successful outing. Were you there Red Bear? How was the Foard passing game?

 

Mooresville @ E. Rowan

Mooresville scored several TD's and moved the ball effectively in their new spread option attack. They had some bad shot gun snaps and had a bad run of penalties but got back on track. The defense played very well and kept ER out of the end zone.

Mooresville is very young this season but they have a good team imo. We'll see how they do early on and a few upsets could enhance their chances of having a really good year. Only time will tell as a brutal early schedule awaits.

Davie Co. will come to town next Friday with a jump start on the season after facing W. Forsyth to open their season tomorrow night.

 

How did Sweezy look?? Isn't he about ready to commit??

 

the early word is that he will be playing for nc state. his stock could rise if he has a really good senior season. he has all the tools to play D1 but i dont think they'll use him at LB like we are.
