    Kristen Cogdill with a big double in the top of the 8th, then a long fly ball to left by Funderburke eludes the left fielder. Two very good teams in action!

    Great pitching duel between Amanda Dodson and Brooke Honeycutt. Honeycutt hit walk off homerun in the bottom of the 9th.
    This was a match up made for Raleigh. NC HS Assoc. really needs to revisit the way they set up these brackets. The best teams not always in the finals.

    At the ND-CC game but girls from W.Forsyth and East Rowan showed up.

    Sounds like great ball all around and wow what a game at ND

    would you suggest seeding all the teams statewide? no more automatically getting 2 from east & 2 from west in the final 4? sounds good, but I can see many potential controversies............... next year the playoffs are being expanded.
