    Word on the street has it that 3 players from the Cabarrsus County Challengers have verbally committed to the Western Carolina softball program for next year.
    Danielle Reese and Tatum Hargett from North Davidson
    Serona Smith from NW Cabarrus.

    Westerns program for now and into the future looks to be on solid ground.
