    she really played well today........4 or 5 straight hits and a couple SBs!

    This is one fast young lady and Erskine will use this resource ALOT!!

    Central Cabarrus Pitcher Gina Allen has a verbal Commitment to
    UNC Charlotte. Great kid going to a great school. Things are looking up for Charlotte.
    Congrats to both Gina and Coach DeVos for making this happen

    Just a classy young lady with an unbelievable work ethic on the field and in the classroom. I know Mom and Dad are proud and pleased that you won't be too far from home!

    Along with Gina from CC ,Desinty Covington has given VT a verbal. Talked to Gina's Dad last week and these two sorta done things differently. They were 95% sure where they were going before they even visted . This was due to a lot of research on schools and players and a ton of unoffical visits last year.I understand they had a certain type of coach in mind and the size of school was not in the play.He said Gina took 2 official visits and Desinty took only one. Good luck to these two because they and CC have brought the level of Fastpitch up in NC. I just hate to have to play against them.

    2006 Verbal Commitments

    Two more 2006 commitments. Mandy Ward and Jessica Polk from Butler (also from the Cabarrus County Challengers) have made verbals to Tom Cole and Gardner-Webb.

    A catcher and outfielder, Megan has verbally committed to Lees-McRae in Banner Elk and Coach Julie Kennedy for the fall of 2006. She will sign a National Letter of Intent during the NCAA November Early Signing Period. Superb grades, excellent speed, on-field leadership and solid fundamentals have served her well and earned her this scholarship. She ranked #1 out of approximately 200 prospects in the 40-yard dash with a time of 5.14 in the NSR/NSA Fall Talent Search in Salisbury, NC. Megan is the daughter of Billy and Cristy Davis. She played for Jeff Snyder on the Denver Dazzle Blue. Congratulations, Megan!     Congrats to Megan:ylsuper: . I'm sure her parents are very proud. Great young lady from a great family. I've known Megan since 12U.Hard work pays off.
    I think she is actually attends East Lincoln HS.
