Kings Mt as a team allows very few runs. Mo is outstanding with a strong defense behind her. After seeing her first hand, the ERA is very realistic to me.

I wasn't speaking about Mo.....after having watched her I know it to be realistic as well. It seems that I confused people on my response that I was talking about Mo...It was just the topic that reminded me of a conversation I had this week with a parent about their DD who was concerned about their ERA going up even though they did not allow a run. Sorry for the confusion...

CFBall, I think from now on you might want to go to the North Carolina High School Atheletic Assc. before you post any Stats. LOL!

    N. Lincoln has a pair of talented sophs. Jenna Torbert (crushers) a power hitting catcher/3rd and Courtney Feldon ( Craze ) a slick fielding , switch hitting 2nd baseman .Both were all tournament in the Gaston Gazette HS tournament. Feldon hit .666 ,Torbert hit 2 bombs. NL should go far in the state. Lost to KM last week 3-0. Gave up 1 earned run.

You are right, those are 2 really good players. Should be a great game between N.Lincoln and Cherryville if they meet in the playoffs. Some exciting games coming up!

Scoring something a hit, error or fielder choice really depends on what your team is at the time.

If you are on offence then you will more than likely score a questionable play a hit rather than a error or fielders choice, especially if the hitters is in a slump.

How many scorers actually know what a fielders choice is?

If you are on defence will more than likely give a questionable play an error.

maybe.....but how many questionable plays are there in a game? Not many at all most times none.
