    Congrats to Doug!

My son played with him one fall. Good kid and a very nice family.

Catlin is doing great at UNC-A as the starting 2nd baseman. He's battled through some minor injuries but is still making an impact.

    Freshman closer

The North Carolina Wesleyan Department of Athletics is pleased to announce that freshman Andrew Webb (Northern Nash HS) has earned USA South weekly baseball honors for March 31st. Webb was named Rookie Pitcher of the Week after tossing two scoreless innings in the Bishops' extra inning win over Averett.

He actually came in with no out and a man on 3rd base in the 9th and got out of the inning and ended up getting the win.
