    East won with a homerun from sophmore Paige Honeycutt and a fine pitching performance by Shawn Watson..East's defense helped out alot in this game too!!! Jordan Matthews played hard and is a very fine group of young ladies!

    North Davidson vs. Robinson

    Game was tied 0-0 in the bottom of 5th and then the wheels came off. A error by the 3rd baseman followed by a walk, then a single up the middle gave North their 2nd hit of the game and a 1-0 lead . Then Glosson hit a 3 run shot to put the game away. Both pitchers had a ton of strike outs. Nice effort by a young Robinson team. Good luck to North.

    1st loss and out

    Middle Creek beat Wake Forest Rolesville in the 4A east. Score 5-4.

    For WFR, a final 4 team last year, this was their first loss of the season.

    I guess that this is a pretty big upset.Tough time to get that 1st.

    Want to say to Mecca 6 conf. , great job ladies for putting 3 out of 8 teams into 3rd round !!
