    West Stanly vs West Lincoln

    Western Lincoln County has become West Stanly's home away from home. After knocking out the #1 seeded West Lincoln basketball team in the playoffs this winter, the Colts score 8 runs in the final three innings to pull another upset.

    All four runs unearned. Too many errors on Hibriten.

    Winning Pitcher Buchanan 5 Hits 9 K's

    First time ever for Hibriten in playoffs. Thanks to our lone senior for 4 great years.

    west only had two hits in the whole game both coming in the bottom of the 7th inning. brittany hodge had a 2 run tripple to lead the hawks to a 5-4 victory.

    All three high schools in the county advance to next round. Great job girls and coaches. I have a vested interest in all three. Keep up the good work!
