there are plenty of bushes around the park

The Heels can just get dressed in the woods. Chatham Co. boys, just down the road, know how to use their "natural" suroundings for a number of things. They will have to watch for ticks and chiggers though, once warm weather gets here next spring.

There is a very spacious women's restroom that they should have no problem changing in. Two to a stall, of course.

Anyhow, I will be out there at the complex tomorrow. Hopefully I can find the local guys and see how they are doin'. I'll report back if I catch any of them.

    Directions

Hwy 55 south toward Cary. Turn right on Green Hope School road. Dead ends into Green Level Church Road. Turn left on Green Level. Take your first left from there into facility, Brooks Park Lane. Can't miss it.

    Update

Last night the Legion Team beat the Pony Team 4-0. Micheal Knox 07 (UNC) had four quality ab's. And he hit a monster 3 run HR to left field. Micheal Knox folks can swing the bat! Corey Thompson from Apex 08 (ECU) played 3b for the Pony team and made some nice plays in the field. He swung it well but could not find any holes. The starting pitcher for Team Legion is an 08 LHP from Ill who sat at 90-93. Jimmy Messer who is also on Team Legion came in and pitched two innings and looked great. He gave up 1 hit and punched out a couple of guys. Both teams pitchers were outstanding. Team Legion brought in a rhp to face the last batter of the game. He was a submarine guy that was so low to the ground on his delivery his knuckles were dragging the dirt on his delivery. Absolutely filthy dude on the hill. He was a kid from Miss that was the player of the year in that state.

Today Team Legion played the NABC Team. Team Legion won again 8-4. Again Mike (KNOCKS) Knox from Apex HS was big at the plate with two hits. Jeff May delivered the big blow in the 7th with a bases clearing double to the wall. Tyler Hibbs from MD started on the hill for NABC and was flat out sick on the hill. He was 90-92 fb with a ridiculous slider and 12-6 hook. This kid is really good. Today the pitchers were all in the 89-93 range. Folks if you want to see some boys that can flat out bring it and know how to pitch you need to make the trip to Cary.
