    Mount Tabor is very good...they defeated Northwest Guilford pretty handiedly twice this year...I see Mount Tabor making a serious run at the 4A State Title.

    Whs is good but not good enough to beat that team. I have said they are the best for their conference and they do have some very strong players.
    This will be a good one to watch.

    Game Results posted so far from 3rd round tonight

    From the 4A East Bracket:
    Apex sweeps Jordan 3-0
    Greens Hope defeats Anthens Dr 3-1
    JH Rose Sweeps Hoggard 3-0

    Apex will meet Green Hope Saturday in the 4th round

    From the 4A West Bracket:
    Mt Tabor sweeps NW Guilford 3-0
    N Meck sweeps Davie 3-0
    Myers Park Sweeps Watauga 3-0

    Will post more later and if anyone has the scores please post.

    Rose wins over Hoggard

    JH Rose won against Hoggard tonight in Greenville!
    25-13, 26-24, 25-13

    Great play with lots of long volleys and fighting for points. Game 2 was especially good as you can see from the score!

    according to NCHSAA for 4A west,
    butler defeated weddington 3-1. so butler will travel to myers park for oct 25 match.

    you might wonder if the CLT observer has a story about the butler-weddington match in the friday sports section ... the answer would be NO :-(

    observer does have game scores ... 25-20, 17-25, 25-23, 25-22.

    and in the 4A east,
    scotland county won over britt 3-1. so JH rose will travel to scotland county.

    Apex vs Jordan results

    Apex swept Jordan last night 3-0, 25-14, 25-20, 25-16 and Apex is now 24-2. They will face Green Hope who is in the same conference (TRI8). Green Hope defeated Athens Dr 3-1 which to me was a mild upset.
