    Butler beat Providence 6-0! Constance Orr 16 K's. T. White had a couple key hits for Dawgs.

    Butler: White 2 RBI's, 2-4
    Quant, Habig both: 1-3

    The strike zone today was tough on both teams. Hope to see a better called game next time for both squads behind the plate and on the diamond.

    Providence played very poor defense with 5 errors. Not seen this from the Panthers this season. Butler had one error and it was a questionable call as I thought the first baseman got her foot back in time on a wide throw. Ump also missed a play in favor for Butler against PHS to lead off an inning on an infield hit. Orr threw a nice game for her team.

    Central Cabarrus won their 12th consecutive game over their rival Hopewell Titans today by the score of 7-0, the CC bats were on fire collecting 16 hits with everyone in the lineup collecting at least one hit, while Mo P only allowed 3 hits.

    Ashley Hasson throws a no hitter!!! Cold conditions, good game by Nicole Reilly as well. Hasson had 12 k's and 1 walk.

    Would just like to thank the coaches in the preseason poll for motivating our girls. They are on a mission. Hopewell is still a top team, & will go far in playoffs.
