    Thanks alot. I am a student at E. Gaston and Im planning on making it to alot of the EG games this year, so I will try and keep you guys updated on what is going on with the Warriors through the season

    1 hitter by Hannah Pennell . First time I've gotten to witness Hannah pitch in person and she had the Raiders handcuffed all day. She is impressive.

    But also a good pitching performance by Heather Nellis of North Iredell . The raider faithful should be very proud of her. Shes an outstanding leader and gives it her all everytime out, NO matter the score. Great job Heather

    On a personal note got to give props to my daughter Emily Riddle . A freshman who was scared to death today. But she regrouped after a couple of rough at bats and broke up Pennells No hitter in the 6th. Congrats again to the Warriors and Pennell a REAL GOOD pitcher.

    LP: Kim White (Not sure of her record)

    Quant recorded a no hitter, 14 K's, 2 BB.

    Run for South Meck was scored by Hylton who reached on an infield error. She advanced to home on a freak past ball on a deep backstop from second base. Both infield errors committed by PHS were semi-tough plays, but should have been made as they had the time and means to make them. One was a fielding error that hit the glove, the other was a throwing error that reached first base before the runner and was wide.

    Fletcher: 2/3, double & 2 runs scored.
    Wills: 2/3, 1 RBI
    Quant: 1/3, 1 RBI
    Casella: 0/0, Sac, 1 RBI

    An excellant pitching performance by senior Shawn Watson and great hitting by the Lady Cards was all it took to overwhelm the Lady Bears. I want to send a special shout out to my DD Samantha Smith for her first regular season homerun in the first inning!!! I am proud of all these young ladies--they are a class act!!!!!:SPcheer006cheerbril
