    ^^^ Hate to say don't know her name. Trinity was from Pa. ...NASTY Change up though. 2 OUTSTANDING pitchers in that game.

    W-S Parkland defeats Southwest Guilford last night in a Piedmont-Triad conference game 4-3 in an exciting game. Parkland scores 2 in the top of the first on a single by Victoria Cook, a triple by Katey Beck, and a single by Ashley Myers. SW counters with 2 in the bottom of the first with a walk to Amber Hall, a double by Kathy Miller, an error and a FC. Parkland counters w/1 in the top of the second on a triple by Shadawn Higgins and a passed ball. SW scores in bottom of 2nd on a walk to Sarah Womack, a sac, and a single by Rachel Hill. From there scoreless until the top of the 7th when Victoria Cook singles,moves over on a passed ball and scores on an bloop single to right by Katey Beck.

    East Gaston had 8 hits with Primm and Tameron Sealey getting 2 apiece.
    Ashbrook had 7 hits with Mackie and Heather Carnes getting 2 apiece. Mackie hit a solo homer in the 3rd.

    Both pitchers had 8 K's. East Gaston left 2 on in top of the 7th.

    Jasmine connelly Hit a grand slam in the bottom of the 5th. Im sure Thad will be give more details in both games later on tonight.

    .....must have been a great game. South Central 3A beat powerhouse WJ 4A 3-0. Kaitlyn Wainwright, WP, gave up only one hit. Emily Perkins had a 2B, Carly Hobbs went 2-3. ..........
