    Sc Vs. WJ.....

.....Hey 54! My post was more about the game than what each individual did. Thats why I limited what I wrote. My stats came from the wriyer for the Greenville Daily Reflector. And even though I was originally told that Wainwright gave up only one hit, it was reported the next day in the Reflector, that WJ got 2 hits. Yep, scoring is subjective.

    WJ

Hey fishman, how come Davenport didn't pitch ? Are they doing a rotation, why didn't they bring her in ? I would list her as 1 of the top pitchers in state, so why not go with your big gun ?

    Fair play.......

......Hey Nut! Look I was not at the ball game, I understand that Davenport, no doubt premeire, was the starting pitcher for WJ. I'm relying info from out of town. So in the interest of fair play, I'll close out my involvement about a game that I didn't see by saying, Good Luck to SC and WJ, both teams are stacked with great kids, coaches and parents. I should know, their some of my best friends.

NO, NO,NO Sammie has not and does not keep High School books but the wife does. She occasionally asks people around her what they're opinion is if it was a questionable play like this one. Bloop over second baseman's head, tough play, hit her glove and came out. Would have been a good play if made. I think she originally scored it as an error but after asking a couple of the elder statesmen around changed it to a hit. A win is a win is a win. Have all the respect in the world for the coach at Southwest who always asks about my kids and I love to watch Kathy Miller play. Have heard about some of the other ladies but don't know alot about any of them. So, not hatin' on anyone. You know the old prk, loves the game and the kids involved, mine or otherwise.

For those who have been asking, Kelsey VanderHill is OK and doing fine after being struck on the side of her catching helmet by a MP hitter. Thankfully the helmet did its job. She left the game and is being monitored for the evening, but was alert and talking fine. She has some swelling on the side of her face, but should be fine for Friday. Thanks everyone!
