    Lincolnton @ East Lincoln

    East Lincoln..........12
    Lincolnton...............2

Harley Roberts pitched a good game just way to many errors by the lady Wolves, most of them coming with two outs. Gotta work on the D and bring the bats.
Roberts and Taylor Shelton had the Lady Wolves only hits.

    WP Megan Keller
    LP Harley Roberts

    WHS:
    Jessica Fellmuth 1/4
    Caroline Baker 1/3
    Michelle Humphrey 1/3

For those of you who have inquired, here are the game notes:
Pitcher's dual all game long with some good defense. Weddington threatened in the first and the third. In the first with one out there was a BB, then a HBP when the batter attempted a bunt. Cashoin walks to the plate with one out, runners on first and second. L. Quant gets her to fly out for a tough over the shoulder F4. Two outs, L. Quant K's Morris. Weddington's best chance came in the third with a crazy lead off K/WP that earned Fellmuth first base and no outs. They sac'd her over to second. With one out L. Quant struck out Caitlyn Baker, but Fellmuth did advance to third on a PB. Allie Cashoin earned an intentional pass to set up first and third with two outs. L. Quant got Morris to ground out to SS for a 6-3 to end the inning. Bottom of 4th, Erin Quant led it off with a single. Tried to move her and that did not look too pretty. With runner in motion, E. Quant moved to second on a WP on the same play. Maddie Fletcher doubled her in to RCF with two outs and advanced to third and home on a throwing error. Both teams battled and it came down to timely hitting once again. This could have easily gone in Weddington's favor for the timing, but L. Quant stepped up and got big outs on the mound when she needed them. Her supporting cast played a great game as well. I think our middle infielders could join the circus with a couple over the shoulder circus catches they made to help out on defense.
