    Providence @ Butler (SW4A Game)

    Providence 1 (10-2, 7-2)
    Butler 4 (13-0, 9-0)

    WP: Constance Orr - 10 K's, 2 hits, 1 BB, 1 run
    LP: Leah Quant - 6 K's, 4 hits, 3 BB's, 4 runs total only 1 earned

    PHS Hitters:
    Missy Wills 1/3, double, run
    Meredith Brami 1/3

    Butler Hitters:
    Chelsea Stamey 1/4, double, run
    Jessica Bowen 1/2, RBI
    Chelsea Ingersoll 1/3, run
    Ashton Williams 1/3

Both pitchers threw well. Overall it was a great game to watch.

Recap: Heading into the bottom of the 6th score was tied 1-1. Butler scored one in the first and PHS scored one in the 4th. Last three runs for Butler scored in the bottom of the sixth. Final score doesn't always tell the story. Butler knows how to win and remains unbeaten. PHS could have hung in there by playing errorless ball, but a couple of uncharacteristic errors for Providence in the sixth proved to be the difference. We are very proud of our kids for their efforts coming off spring break and playing hard today. Though a couple of physical mistakes, they played well against a very quality ball club.
