    Concord Spiders pick up another nail biter tonite defeating Piedmont 7-6 in 9 innings to improve to 9-9 on the season, down 6-3 in the bottom of the 7th the Spiders scored 3 runs to tie. Then in the bottom of the 9th Carlie Bodder hit a triple, Casey Shue walked, and Shannon Arthur connected for an RBI single to win the game. Concord is really improving and playing very good softball the last couple games hopefully they can keep it up the rest of the season.

    excellent game, great sportsmanship, would of been a different varsity game had taylor shelton been healthy enough to pitch. Ms Harley, ya did a good job....

    Haha yepp...It was a pleasure...But I gotta question about this game...In the bottom of the ninth with one out and the ball game tied with a runner on third I was up...I'm the three whole hitter and I got walked...And the walk seemed to be intentional...I guess I don't understand why you would walk the three and pitch to the cleanup...I mean isen't she there to hit???I'm just curious not trying to start anything just want to get a better understanding of the game...
