I would like to say one thing though: Thank God for the Game Face. Western's pitcher has only been wearing this for 2 games now, and took a hard line drive right to the head tonight. Hit the top of the Game Face across her brow, ricocheted off and hit her across the top of her head. The hit laid Kerstine flat out on her back. She was rattled, but after getting checked out on the field and throwing a few test pitches, she was able to buckle down and get straight back into the game. Had she not been wearing the Game Face, I don't even want to think how bad it could have been. After seeing this tonight, I can only say it is worth every penny of the investment for the corners and pitchers!

Close game

The final score did not tell it like it was. WH played HC really tuff. Had it not been for a couple of errors and a timely hit or 2 the game could have gone either way. I will absolutely agree with the game face. Had Kirsten not been wearing it she would have been hurt seriously. The ball came straight and hot. I think Kirsten slightly deflected it with her glove, grazed her mask and went all the way to the fence in centerfield.
