Cherryville was rained out last night.
Looks like the only game played in Area IV was Huntersville/Caldwell County.
Caldwells now trails in that series 2-0.

Well we actually have 4 threads already to report playoff scores, one for each Area.

Anyway to jdmump, there were at least 3 other games in Area 3 last night, with Lexy, Mooresville and Concord all coming up winners, refer to Area 3 playoff scores thread.

As for Gant and the Rowan bunch going to the beach, you were joking there right, because that aint happening, thats why Rowan kicks everbody elses butt every summer, they take it serious. They will be well rested for the next series.

As for the umps, overall ok, always have 1-2 that shouldnt be doing it.

Yeah there isn't anyone going to the beach. Some of the players went last week before the playoffs started. I don't think Gantt ever goes to the beach. :clapclap:

Why does it only rain during the playoffs? We didn't get rained out ANY the whole season and have gotten rained out twice this week with playoffs starting tomorrow night (and likely to get rained out).

    rain

they need to start the playoffs about 3 weeks sooner so they can have more days for rainouts. if they could start the season may 16 and play 18 or 20 games in 28 days. that would would leave 6 or 8 days for rain during the season. they could starter the plays around june 15 What do you thank??????????????????????????

We've played 41 games since May 17th. It amazes me at the differences in scheduling from team to team across the state.

reply to TJ21 about Area III and IV playoffs

About the umpires !!! U are so right .
This baseball is over some one those guys heads.
    judgement calls and rules .
I just found out that Area III umpires have been
letting a team take there starting pitcher off the mound put him @ a
position and keeping the DH to bat for the new pitcher !!

all season !! wow .Official rules of Baseball Rule 6.10 " once the pitcher is removed to a position this act ends the DH for the rest of the game !!"

don't know then rules . should not be there .
So Caldwell Co. is in trouble !! sounds like it !! Can't believe they played last night with all that rain !! u say Mooresvlle andlexington cnd Concord all won !! The umpire @ Randolph Co/ ( asheboro ) last night on the plate was really being talked about ( negatively ) by the Radio people last night !! It was one of the worse show of sportmanship from a Radio crew I have ever heard .
