    CD vs Ledford

Good game by both. It was tight until the 6th. A couple of e's turned it around for CD. Coach P knows how to get things going if you give them a chance and all his girls were ready. CL you pitched and hit a great game. Now take it all the way. Great crowd showed up for this one. Yes the Central Cazies were there in full force and really supported their team. Ledford just couldn't get over the hump. Ledford had a terrific season and has to considered one of the best 2A schools in the State. We will miss all the seniors but especially Brittany "Nickle" Teer. You are a great captain, leader, and special to my DD and our family. Continue on as you are at the next level.

    Outstanding Year

You gals from St. Stephens hold your heads high, you had a outstanding year. You lost to a very good team tonight. That can be ya'll next year with a little more hard work in the off-season. St. Stephens will have 8 of its starters back for 2009 + several good freshmen. Looking forward to seeing all you gals this summer somewhere on a softball field.

Also good luck to all the teams going to Raleigh

Another good game! Both teams had additional scoring opportunities but could not cash in on them.

Congrats to the Lady cats for another good year. Close but no cigar!

Good luck to West Stokes in Walnut Creek!

Jfagala, Ledford was dominant in slow pitch and won state titles in 1981, 1991, 1995, and 1996. When fast pitch came into play they won the conference for many consecutive years at the beginning.
