    Good luck also to Laurin and Jordan (Enka), Taylor and Haley (Pisgah). You girls have played and won World Series with your travel ball teams, Laurin and Taylor wth the Smokey Mtn Sting, and Haley and Jordan with their old team, Mixed Forces, and Haley now plays with the Sting. Take that experience and go to Raleigh and help your teammates win the "big one" for your school, community, and conference! Good Luck!!

    It is my understanding that 1A, 2A, 3A, and 4A softball games will start Friday May 30th at 5PM.

    Please correct if necessary.

    1A East.....

    .....'ol fishman was at the beach for a few days....working......and got a chance to read about the kids down that way. More later on names and stuff, but, I've got to say that the East Carteret win over Pender is TBR news. Hey guys, Pender has been the heat, winning the state the past few yrs. For EC to beat them tells me one thing.....theres bookoos of talent in the east that is going under the radar! Pender has Gus. EC has Davis, pardon me folks, and correct me on this name, but the Davis kid is a catcher, Patricia, I beleive and EC has more names to be recognized. Anyway, be it 1A, 2A, 3A, etc. ......east or west, OUR KIDS CAN PLAY!
