2008 Spring Break Tournaments

    I am looking to place a 2A team in a spring break tournament. I would like to go somewhere 2A or 3A to provide a challenge to the players. Are there any openings in tournaments in the Shelby, Gastonia, Hickory, Morganton, Davie County, or Surry areas? If so, please let me know so that I am able to contact someone. Thanks.

    I believe the Gastonia event is still run by the Charlotte Observer. I'm sure if you contact their sports department someone can direct you to the director.

    Shelby always has a great tournament, maybe Smashmouth can help you out. I'll contact him and let you know what he says.

    There is a good one run in Asheboro by Ronnie Pugh that runs the Asheboro Legion Team. It may be full, but if you want to PM me I will give you his email address so you can inquire.

    I have checked at Asheboro and Freedom high schools for easter break tournaments....
    Does anyone else have any information about a tournament around Winston-Salem, Charlotte, Gastonia, Lincolnton, lenoir, etc. with an opening for a 2A school?
    I really appreciate the help, trying to get the schedule finalized before next week.
