Best of luck to both the Cardinals Black and the Triangle Lightnng. Those are very tough pool games with all of them involving Texas and California teams. NC teams have shown they can compete with the best of the best so this will be no different. Go get 'em!!!!!!

Not a bad showing considering they (So Cal Jets) are considered one of the favorites going in. Southern California A State Champs. (72 team bracket for that tournament)

The teams tradition of losing the first pool game in big ASA tournaments continues! I hope they keep the other tradition in place of not losing from that point forward!

Scrimmage vs Atlanta Vipers was close. Stayed tied for most of the game. A bunch of scoring. Vipers threw 4 pitchers and the Swarm 3. I am not there and my wife doesn't keep score well! They lost to American Athletics (CA) and are leading Batbusters (CA) 4-3 in the 4th. They also led most of the game vs Athletics until the wheels came off. They have had some bad luck as one of there pitchers is done for the tourney with a blister problem. That was part of the wheels coming off.

    ^ Update

Batbusters 10 Swarm 4. Fell apart at the end and due to drop dead format did't get the home half of the inning to bat. There is a stink in Texas right now becuase ASA format hasn't been followed. ASA code does not allow any games in championship play (including pool games) to end in a tie. This game wasn't but several games there have ended in a tie. One team finished tied 3-3. The home team batting with the bases loaded and no outs.

Edit-pool games do not seed the backets.
