    That's good news!!!!!!!! Keep up the work, I think a lot of teams, Ashe, Elkin, Surry have started JO volleyball in the summer and that is really helping the high school programs..........that has helped ours..........Good luck with the rest of your season hotsundad..............Maybe we can get our own thread for volleyball!!!!

    How bad did Hopewell beat EG? I know some of those girls from club ball...and I think I saw some familiar blurry parents faces in the stands.

    In the CCC 2A West Davidson beat Ledford 3-2 to take first place in the conference Thursday.

    big south 3A/4A

    looks like North Gaston is the team to beat in 3A, having handed crest its first defeat in conference in about 4 years i'm told.

    east gaston is the team in 4A i understand.....

    these two face off against each other tomorrow....results to come.

    Busy week for the Cougars from Alexander Central. Today @ S. Caldwell. N. Lincoln comes to T'ville tomorrow and @ McDowell on Thursday. Go Cougars!!!!

    If we can get past this weekend, we can get a good indication of the rest of the season. Heard McDowell is playing pretty well this year..Our girls are playing pretty well also.............

    The "Volley for the Cure" was a great idea. Both teams wearing pink. Playing with a pink volleyball. Even the refs using pink whistles. If your family has ever been touched by breast cancer, you can appreciate all the awareness.

    Cougars

    AC over North Lincoln 3-1. JV Cougars win 2-0. Varsity now 9-0 on the season. JVs 8-1. Another conference test today at McDowell. Good Luck to both Lady Cougar teams.
