    Alexander V Mcdowell

    Alexander Central defeated Mcdowell in Marion last night 3-0. Wow, Best start in schools history, (10-0) Great play by the entire team, even the SOFTBALL players, yes, they can play more than 1 sport at AC.................
    Good luck to the entire NW4A conference, Big game next week when AC Reynolds comes to Alexander then Alex. travels to East Burke........

    Not sure if I am doing this correctly. This is the JV girls from South Caldwell and Alexander Central after the 'Volley for the Cure' match at South last week.

    This Week 4 the Cougars

    AC Reynolds comes to Taylorsville today. Cougars travel to Icard to meet East Burke on Thursday. Varsity looking to keep the streak alive. Go Lady Cougars.......

    Elkin facing Mt. Airy, East Surry and North Stokes this week. Good Luck to the Buckin Elks.

    ac has a lot of 1-2 punch in theyr lineup, 2 great setters, 2 good middle hitters and a great outside hitters, also the bench has good players, they

    AC v AC Reynolds

    Great game to watch, Reynolds has a powerful middle hitter #12 very solid, AC played as a team though, they used several angles from there setters and capitalized, big game frm AC's middle hitter with several blocks, outside hitter had good game as well, but all around good defence by the entire team.
    AC won 3-2 and are 11-0 .............CONGRATULATIONS to both teams for a great game..............

    I hope the jv team can learn from the varsity team and get ready for next year, except for the outside hitter, all the girls played JO's and it shows that it help them not only to play better but play as a team

    Here are the standings from the CCC 2A after the first round:
    West Davidson 7-0
    Ledford 6-1
    East Davidson 5-2
    Providence Grove 4-3
    North Rowan 3-4
    Lexington 2-5
    Central Davidson 0-6
    Salisbury 0-6

    Very tough conference from 1-3 with all matches going to 5 games
