Don't see how you can keep those two out of a pre-season poll. Especially Apex.

You should have stayed a lurker. Lots of teams without DB's ranked. Some with DB's that maybe should be like Mt Tabor

I do stand by my opinion that Apex should be in the top 10. But they will be Top 10 in the final poll most likely.

Would Rose/Providence be 1/2 even if they weren't playing each other in a couple weeks at the Impact USA Complex Showcase?

 

Now now, that criticism is supposed to be saved for us in the west. Somebody has not been doing their homework though.

North Buncombe will finish behind TC Roberson and Enka in the 3A MAC. Brevard has 1 excellent starter but graduated a bunch in the 2A WAC. Should finish 2nd in that conference again this year. Polk will be the dominate 1A team out of the mountains this year.

It's all preseason though and just someones opinion. Things will change.

 

I can see West Rowan ranked high, although 3rd may be a bit high for them,,, but interesting that Impact has them ranked above East Rowan.

For those of us who arent in the polls, well I guess these teams will have to ean that recognition. Remember, the only one that counts is the one at the end of the season.

 

It is a little shocking that neither Sanderson or Apex was in the poll. I would think that those teams are just outside the top ten and could very likely get in the poll before long.

The preseason poll is basically a fun thing anyway, wait a month into the season and then it becomes more fun. The great thing about high school baseball is that it is settled on the field and whether you are ranked in the poll or not does not matter until the last one of the year.
