    I agree. The level of competition definitely varies from one classification to the next. However, it seems tough to penalize kids in certain classifications because of where they live or the district they play in. 1A/2A kids don't appear to get the same consideration as the 3A/4A players. I am sure they have the same issue in the All -State selections, therefore they pick a team for each classification as well as a player of the year for each.

    IMO, there are definitely too many great baseball players in this area to choose only ten without leaving many out. The good thing is, most all of these guys will continue playing this game and for many, accolades (or lack of them) won't determine their future success - but hard work and determination - just might.
