    Lake Norman holds on

    Lake Norman Holds off a furious comeback attempt from Hopewell to win 9-8.

    LN up 9-3 top of 7 and HW scores 5 runs and strands tying run at third in a great game played by both teams.

    The only downside was that "Hollywood" was in prime form behind the plate.

    Sounds like it was an exciting game in the 7th. Hopefully I can get back to the softball fields next week.

    yes, NG is struggling early in games right now. and our 1st baseman (basewoman?) is not seeing much she can get her bat on. Kinsey has already signed to play at the abbey.

    honestly jj, didnt see that coming, but i know your firstbaseman and huss's catcher sure wont see much to hit during conference play. two good kids. i hear that sidney is crushing the ball right now also.
