in the big south 3A....Crest will be a school to excell with the addition of a certain freshman in Dakota Kellar. i pick them to go undefeated in conference and hopefully far into the state playoffs.

    I-MECK Conference

    Don't overlook the I-Meck Conference.

North Meck gets no respect, but they might have the most feared hitter in the West 4A in Sarah Mooney, and three deep in pitching.

Hopewell is another team that is being overlooked except by those that have seen them play. My dark horse in the 4A West race.

Lake Norman, the team nobody has seen. I have, and I'm very impressed with this very young team. By the end of the year you'll know their names.

Or go to N.C. Preps.com Final Softball Stats 2009 and you will see the top bats in the state and who is returning. Some incredible numbers.

Look at the top 10 batters in the state...stats are off the charts..especially the top 5...these are some of the best numbers ever posted on N.C. Preps.com...and most of these players will be back for 1 or 2 years...going to be interesting

I have not looked at that site, but do you actually believe any stats posted anywhere? Especially ones that are virtually self-reported? Again have not looked at the site so dont get all defensive out there in cyberland
