While this is not how the league coaches select their All-Conference players, here are mine. The player must have logged at least half their league innings at a position to be considered for that position in my selections and you are more than welcome to supply other opinions.

Consideration was given a player that also had significant contributions on the mound as well as his field position. You can use the DH spot freely.

Great job, as usual. It will be interesting to see which on your list actually make the Southwestern 4A all-conference team. I like the Gold Glove and Rookies recognition. Sounds more like MLB!

No one, and I repeat, no one, saw as many games as you and paid attention to every pitch like you do.. Great choices from a man that has been there,,,,done that... for years in this great conference

    Mincimi outdid himself

I would add Cody Starnes from Independence somewhere---probably an OF position. In my opinion, one of the best players and athletes in the city.

I wish we could add two more categories:

    Most Humble
    Most Respectful

I'd nominate Cody Starnes for one of those too.

I really liked Cody too, just a deep position with Holberton and Wright. Thankfully Brett Austin did not catch most of the season, then I would had to have another deserving player omitted.
