Other teams already in, but still playing for Area titles are: Wayne County(26-5), Cary(23-10), Cherryville(25-7), Hickory(20-10).

Also with Morehead City as host team, Wilmington(26-5) and Hope Mills are currently playing for the #1 seed from Area II with Wilmington leading that series 1-0.

**** Can someone verify Wilmington's 26-5 record? Also do not have a W/L record at all on Hope Mills. I believe the other records listed are accurate as of July 18. Getting info sometimes is not easy, thanks.

Looks like the complete field of 8 teams is set after Wilmington and Cherryville took area titles last night.

WOHS 1390 used to carry all the Cherryville legion games, not sure if they still do. If someone from Cherryville will enlighten us, thanks.

Wlon 1050 A.M. has been broadcasting the games. My guess is they
    will continue to do so.
