East Rowan still the team to beat? I know they lost Troutman, Allen, Holmes, Gobbell, and Jacobs, but return alot of players also. (Sapp, and Will Johnson, to name a couple I remember that were good)

East also has Andy Austin(1B OF) and Bradley Robbins(RHP) that will be major contributors.

East is still the team to beat. Their players work incredibly hard in the offseason and always come back bigger, faster, and better than they were the year before. They also have talented players that began last year on jayvee (Alex Bost, and Wes LeRoy) that saw significant innings during their run to the state championship. Luke Thomas (Wingate) is one of the best catchers in the area. Has tremendous power and very good defensively.

East is talented enough to make another run at the State Championsip. The western part of the state is very talented however. Northwest Cabarrus will be very good as will Mt. Pleasant.
