USSSA Fastpitch has updated our 2011 tournament schedule to include dates in Tarboro, Morganton, and Wilmington in addition to our previously scheduled tournaments at the Eastern Carolina Athletic Park in Goldsboro, NC.

Clippers Classic VA vs NC

We are still looking for teams to fill our Clipper Classic tournament.

We are taking eight teams per age group for this tournament (4 from NC and 4 from VA). From the pool games, we will select an All-Tournament team for each state and the All-tournament teams will square off Saturday night. All teams return on Sunday for Single Elimination.

Also offering a free tournament on April 16-17 in Wilmington.

We are proud to announce the 1st Annual Virginia Rowdies Elite College Showcase Invitational Softball Tournament. We would like to invite you to participate in this event as we showcase players who want to play college softball. We are inviting over 150 colleges to the Showcase to this tournament. Carolina Elite Showcase @ USC Upstate

The Carolina Elite is having 3 showcase events this summer at USC Upstate. The tournaments have been well attended by coaches. Junior college to top D1 schools have attended in the past. Dates are May 20-22, May 27-29 and June 3-5 The first 2 dates are full. There are 2 spots available for quality teams June 3-5. NC ASA and Carolina Cardinals updates

Just a heads up on our upcoming 2011 tournaments.
NC ASA has the 18U A Regional, 18A Hall of Fame, and the Gold Regional this year.They all will be played in Cary June 3-5. All carry 2 berths. I had misinformed folks about the berths for Gold. It has 2 berths, not 1. Entry forms are available on the www.ncasafastpitch.com website message board. ***Both 18U and Gold almost full.

The 2011 Cardinals tournaments are as follows:
Carolina Cardinals Early Bird June 10-12, Rock Hill, SC
***Still accepting teams.

Carolina Cardinals East Coast Fireworks July 8-10, Rock Hill, SC
***We have a full field of 66 teams with more entries coming in daily. Advise that payment and entry form sent in to hold your spot.

Carolina Cardinals Classic July 22-24, Raleigh, NC
***Still accepting teams.

Carolina Cardinals Late Summer Aug. 12-14, Rock Hill, SC
***Still accepting teams. Over 40 entered now.

Carolina Cardinals Ray Chandler Memorial Sept. 23 - 25, Rock Hill, SC
***Still accepting teams. Over 20 entered now.

All are showcases. The Early Bird, Classic, and Late Summer are 5GG pool play...The EC Fireworks and Ray Chandler Memorial will be 4GG pool followed by single elimination.
During the Ray Chandler Memorial, we will award four (4) young ladies, $1000.00 college scholarships.

2011 PONY National Qualifier and PONY National Tournament

2011 PONY Tournaments in North Carolina

Coaches:
We are continuing to accept teams for the PONY National Qualifier to be held in Cary, NC (Thomas Brooks Park) on May 21-22. As of today, we have the following team numbers: 10U-4, 12U-6, 14U-8, HS-4. For a full list of teams, visit our website: www.ncchallengers.org.

As a way to encourage more teams to play in PONY Nationals (to also be held in Cary and Garner, NC on July 23-30), we are able to offer a berth to the national tournament to any team that wins at least two games (pool, bracket, or a combination thereof) in this qualifier!

• 
  The qualifier is a 4 game guarantee, 2 pool games seed teams into elimination play.

• PONY has made a rule change in 2011 and now allows teams to bat 2 EP's in all games if the coach so chooses.

• We will also offer game times that will be significantly longer than many weekend tournaments in the area.

• Finally, umpires will be instructed to stop all game timers in the last 5 minutes of each game to ensure the game gets settled "on the field" instead of by trips to the mound and pitching changes.

• Tournament entry fee is $275.00

ELITE WARM-UP 16U & 18U ONLY

Your invited to come out to a early season tournament and get ready for the showcase season bring your best and win some travel money, 4 GG / 3 pool single elimination we will be inviting all D2 and D3 College Coaches around the area. Please remember D1 College Coaches are in a Dead Period during this time.
A good time to get your team on the field and get some games in.
This is a NSA sanction event for more information and a entry form
