    2nd pitcher at Fuquay?

Look for the McNeil kid in there somewhere. He was starting QB and has a good arm even though FQ football was run first offense.
The Byrd break was a bad one too, looks as though he may be out most if not all of spring.

    Tri-9

I agree that Apex is going to make some noise in the Tri-9. Also, Middle Creek will be a top team this year competing with Holly Springs and Fuquay. Green Hope and Athens Drive will be better than expected. Panther Creek's Harry Jones is a great coach; this could be their break-out year. Cary will be at the bottom.

60 Degrees and Sunny for opening day of tryouts today... Awesome!

Tri-9 will be tough as always. Good teams will be good and there will be some surprises.

Middle Creek opens at Holly Springs -- Talk about starting the season off with a boom. March 1st 7pm

    Holly Springs?

Not so fast my friend... I'm hearing there's lots of trouble at Holly Springs between injuries and discipline.

Grapevine has said that a couple of seniors will not play this season (injury/discipline) reasons.

HS will still be the favorite entering the season IMO though.

    Names

Any names or positions about this. This team has a shot at making a lot of noise this season.

I have heard there are some discipline problems at HS. Guessing some could not find productive ways to spend their off season!

Looking forward to the season starting!

    Scrimmages this weekend???

Middle Creek @ Clayton 11am Saturday

I think Green Hope goes down to Pine Forest... and I think Holly Springs has Garner.

Holly Springs, Garner, and Sanderson have a round robin scrimmage at Garner on Saturday. HS vs Garner in the first 5 inning game followed by Sanderson vs HS and Sanderson vs Garner. I think the first game starts at noon.
