[FONT=&quot]Denny Tincher will be hosting the following pitching classes[/FONT][FONT=&quot]

[FONT=&quot]Saturday, March 24, 11am-1pm-Basic Mechanics Class:[/FONT][FONT=&quot] Special Beginners course, limit six pitchers. Cost $70. Bring a catcher. This is a required course, before students can begin individual lessons with us or take the more advanced classes. Parents are encouraged to take notes and get involved in helping your daughter learn to approach pitching in a new way, a way we call Fluid Dynamics. We will have handouts for this class with all of the information you need to take the form home and keep her growing. Denny will be joined by at least two of our instructors to assure lots of one-on-one time for pitchers.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Saturday, March 24, 1:30-3:30pm- Advanced Mechanics Group: [/FONT][FONT=&quot]Special class; previous lessons or clinic with us required to register! Limit 5 pitchers. Cost $70. Bring a catcher. Advanced pitching techniques. This class will focus on specific ways to maximize your biomechanical advantages for speed and endurance. This is a good class for those who want make sure they are staying consistent with the Fluid Dynamics form, want continue to remove barriers, and to lay a foundation for breaking pitches. We will also take a look at basic breaking pitches during the final half-hour of the class. Denny will be joined by two of our instructors to assure more personal attention to pitchers.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Sunday, March 25, 1:00-3:00pm- Keep It Going Strong Class[/FONT][FONT=&quot]: Special class; previous lessons or clinic with us required to register! Limit 5 pitchers. Cost $70. Bring a catcher. For those who have been to one of our clinics or had just a few lessons, this class will help re-inforce Fluid Dynamics. We will very carefully examine each aspect of the form, making sure each part of the body is doing its part, and making sure you fully understand how the process works. Students will be actively involved with instructors in evaluating one another so pitchers gain a better working knowledge of the form, see how it works on others, and understand how to better bring the process into their pitching. Denny will have at least two additional instructors on hand to assure more personal attention.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Sunday, March 25, 3:30-5:30pm[/FONT][FONT=&quot]- Specialty Pitches Special Class, previous lessons or clinic with us required to register. Limit 6 pitchers. Cost $70. Bring a catcher. First hour will focus on fine-tuning your mechanics and maximizing performance. The next hour we will work on change-up, screwball, and drop. We will have handouts for all pitches. Before taking this class, pitchers must have been through lessons with us previously. Denny will have two additional instructors on hand to assure more personal attention.

USC Upstate Softball Summer Camp

Upstate will be running it's summer camp June 25th through the 28th. The

first 220 campers will be taken. Last year the waiting list was 40. If

interested please fill out the application provided and send back to reserve

your spot. The camp will have defense in the morning, hitting in the

afternoon and night time games. If you need more info please contact

Pitcher and Utility Player Needed

The Carolina Slammers has almost completed the tryouts for the summer team.
We’ll be having one last tryout April 1st to fill the last few spots.
This is mandatory for anyone wanting to be part of the Carolina Slammers.
If you have NOT attended one of the tryout sessions, you will need to be at the session on the 1st when the final team will be selected.

Join the Coaches of Queens University Softball Team and take your game to the next level at the SUMMER 2012 ELITE Camp.

What to Bring: Softball Gear (glove, bat, helmet, cleats), Water, and *Lunch!

• Work with Queens University of Charlotte Coaching Staff
• Receive personalized instruction
• ONE on ONE instruction time allows you to understand new skills and techniques

Defense Hitting
• Position-specific instruction • Learn proper swing mechanics
• Individual fielding skills • Build on mental aspect of hitting
• Throwing fundamentals • Practice hitting through drills using t-work,
• Learn game situations soft toss, front toss, & live pitching
• Build on defensive communication • Improve bunting & slapping

COACHES- receive a discounted rate per camper if you bring your whole team (7 or more)

Camp will run from 9AM to 4PM:

First Half-Defense

College of Charleston Softball Camp
