2012 Powerade State Games of NC

    The 2012 Powerade State Games of NC will return to Forsyth Country Day School in Winston-Salem this June 18-21, and we are looking forward to playing host to some of the best talent from all across the state!

    All varsity high school softball players are eligible to tryout. There are 8 different underclassmen regions, and there will also be an East-West Series for graduating seniors. Each player must attend at least 1 tryout to be selected for her respective team.

    Registration is open now at www.ncsports.org for all tryouts. There you will find a map with the different regions, coaching staffs, and tryout locations. Tryouts are still being finalized, and will be posted as soon as the dates and locations are set.

    Looking forward to seeing all of the talent in Winston Salem at the State Games and also attending as many tryout sessions as I can. Coaches please ask/tell your players who are interested to sign up with NCAS as soon as possible. Sure don't want players who want to tryout to miss the boat on this. Seniors who want to participate in the tryouts for the All-Star game need to register as well. Can't wait to renew the rivalries between the Regions and watch the Seniors battle each other for bragging rights for a year. Sign up today!!

    State Game Tryouts

    I too am looking forward to watching the young ladies showcase themselves as well as play along side girls from rival schools or even travel teams. Looks to be a lot of fun.

    Almost all of the districts have posted their tryout dates. Please encourage the young ladies to sign up for tryouts soon. They have to register before they can tryout.
