Queen of Diamonds

All,

I do not run this tournament nor make a penny from it. I'm just one of the volunteer coaches for it. I was asked to post to our local softball community the following info for any girls that are interested (in the QDSS) and any 14u teams that are interested (in the actual tournament). For those new to the idea, the QDSS is not for your team to sign-up, rather it is for individual players to apply for a particular position and be placed on a team for 2 days of softball. The 14u is a standard tournament that a full team registers for.

Bottom line:
-I have no financial (or other) stake in this.
-Everything posted below is copy/paste message directly from the tournament director/founder.
-These events take place Labor Day weekend in Rock Hill, SC.
-I wouldn't volunteer to coach in the QDSS if I didn't think it was worthwile for certain players. I also wouldn't pass along this message if I didn't think some girls have benefitted significantly from participation in the QDSS.

We are USSSA committed and have 2 WS berth's available for 2013 for our event called the QDT14U, held in Rock Hill, SC ..Sept 1st and 2nd 2012. We have only a few slots left.
If you're a quality team and think you can play at a high level matching teams from OH, PA, KY, TN, AL, FL, etc...let us know, we are looking for a couple more teams to fill out the event. Looking for only class act teams with outstanding coaches and awesome athletes

CHALLENGER CLASSIC PONY NATIONAL QUALIFIER - May 19-20, Cary NC

The North Carolina Challengers invite you and your team to participate in their 2012 PONY National Qualifier on May 19-20, 2011 in Cary, NC. In order to enhance participation in PONY Nationals (which will also be held in Cary on July 28 – August 2) all teams winning two or more games will automatically receive a berth into the PONY National Championship.

AGE GROUPS: 10U, 12U, and 14U
DATES: May 19-20, 2012
LOCATION: Thomas Brooks Park and Middle Creek Park, Cary, NC
FORMAT: 4 Games Guaranteed – 2 pool games seed teams into double elimination play
COST: $300 for 12U and 14U, $250 for 10U
TIME LIMITS: All games (pool and bracket) for the 12U and 14U age groups will have time limits of at least 1 hour, 30 minutes.

*Organizational Discount – Take $25 off each team’s registration when two or more teams from the same organization register for this tournament.

Looking for team for 3 game scrimmage

We are looking for 1 more team to fill out a 4 team 16/18u scrimmage at South Caldwell HS this Saturday, May 26. It will be a 3 game round robin scrimmage format. No roster and open substitutions. $100.00. For more info. call Scott at 828-320-5699.

 

23u Tournament Gold Mine Challenge

The Gold mine challenge is open to 23U, 18U Gold and 18 Premier teams.

18 Team tournament hosted at Yahoola Park and North Georgia College in Dahlonega Georgia. This tournament offers a very competitive field of 23u, 18 Gold and 18 Premier teams.

Three pool play starting Friday afternoon July 20th going into a seeded single elimination tournament Saturday afternoon. All teams will play at least one game at North Georgia College. The final four teams will play on sunday at NGCU.

Currently, we are looking for two teams to fill the 18 team tournament.
