    LET's have a 3 game series

    I, for one, would pay a good bit to see theDirtbags 2013 in a best of 3 (or 5) series at a nice venue against the South Charlotte Panthers 2013. I know the SCP would field their current roster; not sure who the 'bags would bring along but, never mind; just want to see these guys play. Both teams are doing well this fall.:jump::jump::jump:

    2013 SCP

    I know most of these boys. Coached many of them. Terrific talent. It's not about who's better. It's supposed to be about helping kids realize their dreams.

    I know it's terrible to ask - the implication and all - but is it possible that the 8 would have committed if there were neither any Dirtbags nor the aforementioned man who 'gets it done'? Just wondering.

    Now just forget I even asked, and you opposing showcase guys go slug it out...:boxing_smiley:

    It is very likely that these guys would have recieved an opportunity to continue their education and play baseball because they are all talented. Do we know that for sure. No we don't. What we do know is that they are all members of the DirtBag organization as we speak and their Parents, DirtBag coaches, High School coaches are surely proud of them. Another thing i know for sure is that if you are talented it can't hurt playing for Andy and the DirtBag organization.With College baseball being the way it is, any kind of help you can get should be welcomed.

    Let me first say that I have NO ties to the Dirtbags.. But when you compare the SCP 2013 and Dirtbags 2013, obviously both teams are impressive and could beat each other on any given day. However, I believe the SCP 2013's actually have more talent from top to bottom, especially if you take into account the depth of pitching. That being said the Dirtbags have 8 committed and the SCP's have 3 committed. That doesn't happen by accident. Is it AP or where they play their Impact tournaments and the exposure they get, especially with UNC and NC State?

    Thoughts?

    aguyyouknow, why are you taking issue...???

    Sir, we all know "it's not about who's better"
    I guess I am not sure why you attack a suggestion that these two wonderful teams play each other. I am not looking to see who is better. I just would immensely enjoy watching the competition.
    Where did I go wrong??:35::35::35::35:

    Andy Partin simply gives the boys a place to play in front of the best schools in our state. The boys have to perform or they will not get the offers. Too much credit is given to the GM of these showcase organizations. I can guarantee you that the kids that have committed to UNC from the Dirtbags would have been given the same offer if they played for another organization and performed at a high level. The same applies to the Canes, SC Panthers, Cubs, etc. The bottom line is the boys have to produce to get an offer from the major D1 schools in our state. Parting does a great job of getting the boys in front of UNC and NC State. It doesn't hurt that the Dirtbags have a rich history of sending some of our states best players to UNC, NC State, etc. The Dirtbags are able to attract some of the best players in NC because of their past success on the baseball field.

    These 3 guys do a ton of behind the scenes work for the kids.

    Attack? On the contrary I would love to see them play each other often. Players improve by playing against the best competition. I'm sorry you misunderstood my point.
