Alley Cats 18u

Notice: Tryouts scheduled for Aug. 10 have been canceled due to inclement weather and rescheduled for Sunday / Aug. 18 @ 3:00 at Spartanburg Methodist College.

The Alley Cats 18u Team will be holding tryouts Aug. 18 at Spartanburg Methodist College starting at 3:00 am. All positions are open. Go to the Alley Cat website and click on the Handouts Tab for a tryout form. Complete the form and bring it with you the morning of tryouts. Thad Fox (Head Coach/SMC) has joined the Alley Cat Coaching Staff for the Fall Season and beyond. Potential players must be solid athletes with the grades and desire to be a College Prospect. We have 4 signed Seniors headed to College this Fall so the Alley Cat Team is being retooled for the future. We are seeking solid student athletes that are willing to learn and compete at their highest level while being a part of a team where the focus is on all players.

Lady Legacy looking for players

The Lady Legacy is looking for two players to round out our roster of 9

• Utility Player with a good bat. Speed is a plus
• A bracket level of pitcher capable of getting outs

We play mostly AAU tournaments in the Charlotte/Concord area. We've placed in several tournaments in 2012 inlcuing winning the Top Gun Summer World Series.

Carolina Stars '01

The Carolina Stars '01, based out of Winston-Salem, is looking to add one very solid outfielder to complete our 2013 roster. We are a solid organization based out of Salem College offering teams from 8u to 18u showcase. We will compete in A-bracket NSA, IFA, and Top Gun tournaments beginning in mid-March.

12-u Lake Norman Lightning Pit/Cat/Utility wanted

The Lake Norman Lighting is based out of Huntersville, NC. We are looking for a pitcher, catcher and a utility player. Pitcher must have control of 3 pitches and if you are working on a 4th that would be great (the 4th is not a requirement). You don't have to be a flame thrower, we need a girl that has control, can hit spots, has a solid defensive glove and is coachable. The catcher must have solid defensive fundamentals that we will build on. We have develop catchers that have gone on to start for their middle school teams and on our older teams came in as freshmen and have started on their high school teams. Utility player must be able to play infield or outfield have strong defensive glove, strong arm and good range. We are also looking for girls that have strong bats. We have a drama free program and the parents are Great! If you are a parent and your are looking for a place for your daughter develop and have a greater knowledge of the game then we look forward to hearing from you.
