Come learn from some of the best softball players in the world! Learn the game from former Olympic Gold Medal Champion, World Champions, Professional and Collegiate Champions including Crystl Bustos, Ashley Charters, Taryne Mowatt and Brittany McKinney.


The Athletes Edge Summer Softball Clinic provides a fun and exciting opportunity for softball players to develop their softball skills. Our nationally recognized will instructors will use demonstrations, drills and teaching tools to develop each of our participants technical skills. Our clinics are designed for beginning players through advanced; and participants will be grouped to allow players to develop their skill more effectively.

Pitt Community College softball is holding an advanced softball camp for high school softball players. The date of the camp is going to be July 24th from 10am to 2 pm at Winterville Parks and Recreation. If you are interested in attending please contact me to register by July 24th. Former collegiate coach/player offering catching/hitting lessons at Perfect Form

Myka Wright Cygielman is now accepting new hitting and catching clients at Perfect Form Fastpitch in Davidson, NC. Myka was an All-California catcher and shortstop at Santa Barbara and a former collegiate coach. She is currently the head coach of the Charlotte Magic 14u "A" travel team and has been working with catchers and hitters in the Carolinas since relocating to Charlotte two years ago.

In addition to skill development and maximizing power, Coach Myka specializes in tailoring lessons to the individual athlete's strengths and body type as well as focusing on the mental aspects of the game. For hitters, it is not enough that the player gets corrections and suggestions; they must also learn to feel what they are doing and fix it on their own. For catchers, controlling the pace of the game and learning to work the umpire is just as important as proper framing and digging techniques.

College Showcase Clinic

MARYLAND BLACK ICE FOURTH ANNUAL COLLEGE SHOWCASE CLINIC​

FRIDAY AUGUST 8 - COCKEYSVILLE, MD
COST: $110 per player
LIMITED TO 80 players!
Many college coaches in attendance!

Many of you have been to clinics where there are a couple hundred or more players competing for a coach’s attention. We are very proud of the fact we keep our players chances to get noticed very high. The college coaches that attend do not work the clinic, they are free to walk around and observe players.

Last year, 30 coaches from 23 colleges watched 80 young ladies showcase their skills at our August 2013 event. Over 150 players from seven states applied for last year’s showcase, and from the inquiries we have received, we expect this number to grow for 2014!
Players will be selected based on age, positions played and available spots. Selected players give permission to the Maryland Black Ice to share application information with the college coaches and its clinic staff.

The clinic will be at the Black Ice softball fields located at 10535 York Rd, Cockeysville, MD 21030. Time will be from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 or 3:00 p.m. with registration and check-in at 8:30 a.m. (note: the time is approximate at this point and may change slightly; please use only as a point of reference).

In the weeks to come, final details will follow. Please keep checking our website for further clinic updates and committed college coaches that will be attending, as we will be updating daily! We will also send many teams up and down the East Coast information about the clinic. Get your application in quickly to be considered before August 5th.

Interested players must fill out the electronic application to be considered for selection. Do not send money until you’ve received an acceptance notification.
